Asian Paints to set up Rs 1700 Cr plant at Vizag
Hyderabad, Jan 17 (INN): The Andhra Pradesh Government has cleared the administrative hurdles in the setting up of a Rs 1700 crore paint manufacturing plant of the giant Asian Paints at Visakhapatnam.
Chief Secretary I Y R Krishna Rao on Saturday held a review meeting with the representatives of Asian Paints and Industries Department to sort out certain bottlenecks near Vishakhapatnam.
The Asian paints had agreed to establish their unit at Vizag after making available the land and due environmental and other clearances from the government.
