Home minister Nayani takes 'TITA Green Pledge' Hyderabad, Jan 19 (INN): Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy on Monday took TITA Green Pledge at the State Secretariat in the presence of Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) President Sundeep Makthala and its working committee members.
The Home Minister applauded TITA members for the green initiatives taken to protect and conserve the environment and has requested TITA to continue doing social awareness programs in the society. He asked TITA team to extend its support to TS Government Green initiative 'Haritha Haaram'.
Narasimha Reddy has taken the pledge by watering a tree and vowed to protect the trees by watering and removing litter. He promised to replace plastic bags with reusable shopping bags. Conserving water, minimizing pollution, turning off electrical appliances, recycling e-waste are some other aspects in the pledge
Besides the TITA President, Students Chapter Coordinator Vikram, Membership Committee Vice-Chairman Swamy Deva, PRO Ramesh Podishetti, KL Narasimha Rao, G. Suresh and others participated in the event.
