Members of Tamil Chamber of Commerce visit Sri City Sri City, Jan 20 (INN): A 22-member delegation from the Tamil Chamber of Commerce (TCC), Chennai, led by its President Chozha Naachiar Rajasekar visited Sri City on Tuesday.
Ramesh Subramaniam, President, Sri City Foundation extended a warm welcome and C Saravanan, Vice President, Marketing, Sri City briefed them on the infrastructure and the unique features of Sri City.
The visiting dignitaries represent a wide spectrum of industries and business firms. They all actively interacted and evinced keen interest in knowing more about Sri City and the industrial units that have come from different parts of the world. Following the briefing session, the visitors went round the campus and had a close glimpse of some of the units.
Appreciating the initiatives taken by the Sri City management in developing such a mega industrial park, Rajasekar said, " We are all totally enthralled with the world-class infrastructure and business friendly atmosphere at Sri City.'
Commenting on the visit Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director, Sri City said, "Visit of TCC delegation is very important for us, as they lead business across diversified industries. TCC promotes and protects the Commerce, Industries and Trades in India, particularly in Tamil Nadu, and acts as a bridge between the business class and the Governments."
"Their views and suggestions will be useful for making Sri City a mega industrial hub, even for small and medium enterprises," he added.
TCC membership fraternity covers the whole of Tamil Nadu and also outside with a representative character comprising various industries and trades.
To encourage craftsmanship and commerce education; the Chamber has instituted Annual. TCC organises conferences and seminars periodically and also invites prominent persons in the commercial and industrial field as well as officials from the Government to address our members.
