Jr college principal arrested for eve-teasing
HYDERABAD: A junior college principal was caught red-handed, ogling at and eve-teasing a young woman, at the Lakdi-ka-pool bus stop here. The accused, M Dhanshetty (38), is the principal of Gayatri Junior College in Bachupally. A SHE team found him gesturing indecently at the woman waiting at the bus stop.
'The principal came on a bike to the bus stop and was staring at women. Finding a lady standing alone, he asked her to sit on his bike. Our SHE team recorded the incident and arrested him. A case was registered against him,' Additional Commissioner of Police, (Crimes and SIT), Swati Lakra said. The principal is a resident of Hydernagar in Bachupally.
In a similar incident, SHE teams, patrolling near Mehdipatnam, took into custody two teenagers for harassing girls at a bakery. The teams found Noman (19) and Afzal Tameem Mohiuddin (19), both residents of Malakpet, giving slips containing their phone numbers to the girls and asking them to call them. The duo were caught red-handed.
