Reddy's Labs to set up new units near Vizag SRIKAKULAM: Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd chairman Satish Reddy told newsmen that the company was cogitating to set up more plants in the new state of Andhra Pradesh. He also hinted at increasing investments. Since Vizag is turning out to be a pharma hub, Reddy's Labs is contemplating to set up another plant in Duvvada SEZ, Satish announced.
Satish Reddy launched Community Health Intervention Programme (CHIP) at Sanchaam village in Ranasthalam mandal of the district. Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd with the help of Neonatal Intensive Care and Emergencies (NICE) Foundation launched the CHIP.
On the occasion, Satish Reddy said that the CHIPS was launched to cater to the health care needs of 74,000 people living in 54 villages of Ranasthalam mandal. He announced that Reddy's Labs would spend `3.5 crore in five years on the CHIP.
