Fairfax's Watsa meets AP CM Hyderabad, Jan 27 (INN): Canadian businessman and Fairfax Holdings Ltd chairman and chief executive officer Prem Watsa met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the State Secretariat here on Tuesday.
The delegation consisted of head of Fairfax Singapore, Thomas Cook India managing director Madhavan Menon and MD of Lea Associates.
The Chief Minister briefed Watsa about his plan for 'Digital AP', Capital City and the state's potential to become logistics hub of South East Asia. He also asked Watsa to help the state attract pension funds from Canada.
Watsa said he is keen to invest in hardware, tourism, hospitality and power sector in the state.
Inviting Chief Minister to visit Canada, the Hyderabad-born investor said he will host an investors' summit in Canada and help Andhra Pradesh attract investments from the country.
