Naidu likely to tour Telangana from Feb 12 HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has firmed up his plans to tour Telangana to 'expose failures of the TRS government' and re-energise his party cadre, demoralised after defections of senior leaders to the ruling TRS.
He is expected to embark on his maiden tour in the new State as CM of residuary AP any day between Feb 12 and 14 from Warangal district. 'Naidu will be going to Delhi in a couple of days to exert pressure on the Centre to include all the promises made in the AP Reorganisation Act-2014 in the Union Budget. He will finalise the date of his visit to Warangal after his return,' said a source.
The TDP chief has selected Warangal to begin his tour in view of the ensuing corporation polls. Sources said the TDP is also keen on making the most of the recent exit of Rajaiah from the State Cabinet to attract SCs into its fold.
