Mother-daughter duo run over by train at Borabanda
Hyderabad, Feb 2 (INN): A 45-year-old woman and her daughter were run over by a train while they were crossing a railway track to reach the platform of Borabanda Railway Station.
The accident occurred on Monday morning at about 8.45 AM. According to Nampally Railway Police, the deceased - B Lingamma and her daughter B Thelgamma, 25, were run over by a train while they are moving towards the railway platform by crossing the tracks.
They hailed from Aryan Nagar in Zaheerabad of Medak district. They came to the city on January 30 to meet their relatives in Parvatha Nagar near Borabanda. On Monday, they met with the gruesome accident while reaching the railway station to catch a train to Zaheerabad.
Both the bodies were handed over to the relatives after an autopsy was conducted on the same at the Osmania General Hospital mortuary, Sub-Inspector Rama Rao said.
