KCR seeks land from Rajasthan Govt for 'Ajmer Rubaat' Hyderabad, Feb 3 (INN): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, in a letter addressed to Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, has requested for allocation of 1-2 acres of government land for construction of Guest House ' 'Facilitation Centre-cum-Rubaath' at Dargah Hazrat Khaja Moinuddin Chishti Gharib Nawaz (RA) at Ajmer in Rajasthan State with an estimated cost of Rs 5 Crores.
The Chief Minister mentioned that the guest house is for the benefit of devotees of Telangana State visiting Ajmer during the URS as well as the whole year round. He informed that the Telangana state cabinet has already resolved to sanction an amount of Rs 5 Crores during the financial year 2014-15 for construction of the above Guest house.
KCR requested for allocation of the Government land of 1-2 acres in favour Telangana State Government (Minorities Welfare Department) to enable the Telangana Government to take up the construction of the Guest House at an early date. The structure coming up on the land is proposed to be a Wakf structure, said the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister also extended profound thanks on behalf of people of Telangana in anticipation of her kind gesture.
