Krishna Rao holds review meeting on Labour Dept
Hyderabad, Feb 12 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao conducted a review meeting on Thursday at the Secretariat with the concerned officials to discuss on the Labour Department.
Secretary of Labour G Anantha Ramu has briefed about Industrial Dispute Act, Contract Labour Regularization Act, Factories Act, Compounding, Health Assistance, Provident Fund, Pension Schemes, Skill Development, Administration improvements etc., of the Department and also explained the Construction Workers Board, Labour Welfare Board and Unorganized Workers Board which relating to the welfare schemes of the workers.
Labour Department Commissioner D Vara Prasad and Additional Commissioner Surya Prasada Rao have attended the meeting.
