Jagan is the future of AP, Sharmila

Various Places in AP, April 2: Lambasting Chandrababu Naidu for his dual standards and double speak, YSR Congress has said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is face of the future while TDP term is a black chapter in the history of Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing a string of public meetings in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, and Krishna districts here on Tuesday, Party leaders YS Vijayamma and YS Sharmila said, 'Chandrababu Naidu has pushed the state into a debt trap by taking loans indiscriminately for non productive purposes.

He has been shifting his stand and alliances as well and changing colours like a chameleon. First he said that Special Category Status (SCS) is not a wonder drug and agreed for a Special Package in lieu of SCS. After pulling out from the NDA again he started speaking of SCS.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on the other hand was very firmly advocating for SCS. He held dharnas, protest deekshas, Yuva Bheris, and also held a protest programme at the national capital. The Party MPs were the first to move a no-confidence motion against the Narendra Modi government and they had quit the House in protest against the failure of Centre to concede to their demand.

Chandrababu Naidu had aligned with all the political parties. He was with NDA, he was with Left Parties and now he has joined the Congress bandwagon. While he was changing colours too often, we have never aligned with any political party. We have no tie up with BJP or TRS but it TDP has been on the changing alliance partners from election to election.

Jackals come as a pack but a lion will go hunting alone.

Chandrababu Naidu has not fulfilled even a single poll promise and even the manifesto was taken out from the Party website. He has promised waiver of loans to farmers and women groups, housing, free power and over 600 other promises but did not fulfil a single one.

Aarogyasri has been diluted and patients are suffering, fees reimbursement is not being given on time, farmers, women groups, weavers and all sections were deceived by TDP government.

He has boasted of building an international standard capital city but not a single permanent structure has come up, he could not even build a flyover but has shown illusions and graphics to people.

He had also boasted of completing Polavaram in three years, but it remains static as it was taken from the centre only for kickbacks.

When YSRCP comes to power, all the Navaratnas will be implemented in full earnest providing education, medicare, pensions, housing and clearing the dues of women groups besides completing Polavaram project.

The much touted Pasupu Kunkuma scheme is only to cheat the women and this is only a bait and a short term gain. The leaders urged the women, in particular, not to be carried away by the propaganda but think twice before voting and Navaratnas will improve the quality of life while Chandrababu has the history of going back on his election promises and this time he will not do any different.

Turncoats are contesting on TDP ticket and people will teach TDP a fitting lesson in the April 11 election, they said.
