People's welfare top priority, says Pawan
YSRC flayed for alleged intimidation and divisive politics
Visakhapatnam: Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan has stressed that welfare of the people who voted for him is his top priority, above party or position.
Speaking at the 'Position-Responsibility' meeting, Pawan Kalyan urged the Jana Sena nominees to work with dedication and ensure the trust placed in them by the people is not betrayed.
He emphasized that positions are not ornaments but responsibilities and warned against attempts to disrupt peace and order in the state.
Kalyan criticized the opposition YSRCP for allegedly supporting anti-social elements and intimidating others. He assured officials that the YSRC will not return to power and urged them to perform their duties without fear.
The Jana Sena leader also spoke about the importance of social harmony and criticized attempts to politicise caste divisions. He suggested renaming the Polavaram project after Sri Potti Sriramulu, a national leader who sacrificed his life for the Telugu cause.
Kalyan announced plans to strengthen the party's grassroots organization, starting with the Pithapuram constituency. He emphasized the need for transparency and inclusivity in party affairs.
The event was attended by Jana Sena Party nominees, who took an oath to work responsibly and uphold the party's ideals.
