TPJAC wants T-Bill amended Hyderabad, Dec 31 (INN): The Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (JAC) on Tuesday demanded that the Andhra Pradesh State Reorganisation Bill, 2013, be amended before tabling the same in the Parliament.
Speaking to media persons at the TPJACs office here, Kodandaram said that the Bill needs many amendments and could not be accepted in its present form. He said that Governor Raj in the GHMC limits was highly unacceptable. He said that an experts' committee has been constituted to study the required amendments and a representation would be sent to the President of India and the Centre in this regard.
Kodandaram also said that the TPJAC would be organising "Sampoorna Telangana Sadhana Deeksha" at Indira Park on January 7 to press for complete Telangana with 10 districts with Hyderabad as its capital. He said Telangana State should be on par with 28 other States in the country and no strings should be attached to the same.
He also informed that the Telangana Advocates convention would be held at AV College at Domalguda on January 5.
