 News: Headline News | Uday Kiran depressed? Hyderabad: Actor Uday Kiran hangs himself to death at his residence in Srinagar colony after Sunday midnight. The young sensation of last decade is learnt to have landed up in financial troubles added to weaning of cinema chances had led to his untimely death.
Uday Kiran who married Nishita in October 2012, has been living since then with his in laws in Srinagar colony. His wife and family members were away to attend a function in their family in Manikonda when the hero ended his life by hanging himself to ceiling fan of his bedroom.
According his wife Nishita, Uday has been under tremendous mental pressure owing to financial problems and having no cinema offers forthcoming. He is a lot worried about his dwindling filmy career which came to a grinding halt even before his marriage with Nishita.
He is in a disturbed state of mind and showed symptoms of depression as he wishes not to leave the house for the last two days before he killed himself.
It was learnt that Uday Kiran showed no interest in meeting friends for a long time and likes to spend time lonely. On Sunday night when his wife called him the phone went unanswered rising her suspicion that something may be wrong with him.
She immediately alerted her family members and when they rushed to home to see what happened the young hero was seen hanging by ceiling fan.
He was immediately rushed to Apollo Hospitals, where doctors declared him being brought dead.
Upon informed over the incident police rushed to hospital and removed his dead body to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem.
Clues team of police had visited Uday Kiran's home and trying to gather evidence. They took possession of his laptop, cell phone and other belonging to ascertain what led him to take the extreme action.
It was learnt that Uday made a last call to one Bhuvan in Chennai and sent a text to his wife saying he loves her.
