CM brother's close ally involved in red sanders smuggling Tirupati: A close ally of brother of Chief Minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy, Dwarakanath Reddy has been arrested by the police on Tuesday. He was arrested by the police, while he was making an attempt to smuggle red sandalwood.
In this episode, red sandalwood of worth Rs 50 lakh rupees has been seized from him. A case has been booked and investigations are on. It is evident that in the recent past, red sandalwood smuggling has been at its peak nowadays; and news is making rounds that there has been a big shot's hand behind the red sandalwood smuggling. Now, the local people are of the opinion that Kiran Kumar's own brother is that invisible big shot, sources added.
Even the local people aver CM's hand behind Dwarakananth Reddy's untoward activities, added sources. The local people have been demanding for immediate probe into this issue.
