Krishnam Raju to rejoin BJP in the presence of Rajnath Hyderabad: Krishnam Raju, a former minister in the union government during the regime of NDA has all set to join Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday.
He will be joining the party officially on Thursday in presence of the party national president, Rajnath Singh. It is worth mentioning here that Krishnam Raju has been the same party member and also served as a minister in the union cabinet.
Later, when he faced a defeat in 2004 general elections, he kept himself away from the politics and concentrated only on movies. During 2009 general elections, he contested on a PRP ticket. But, he experienced another blow.
It was learnt that Krishnam Raju planned earlier to join YSRCP. However, after Modi has been declared as the party's prime ministerial candidate, currently, Krishnam Raju decided to join the Bharatiya Janata party. Further, it is learnt that Krishnam Raju will contest for the Loksabha from Kakinada constituency.
