Kiran asserts his Samaikya policy
HYDERABAD: Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has reiterated that Samaikyandhra is not a mere slogan but is his policy. 'I opposed the Congress high command's decision to divide the state.
I will explain the reasons during the debate why I opposed it,' he said while intervening intermittently during the debate on the Telangana bill in the state Assembly on Friday. 'I was born and studied in Telangana.
Tell me whether I belong to Telangana or Seemandhra,' he asked CPI's Gunda Mallesh. Mallesh said Kiran had T in his heart but was chanting Samaikya for votes in elections.
