Jai Samaikyandhra flexis create flutter
Tirupati: Giving strength to rumours on a new party in the offing, `Jai Samaikyandhra' flexis surfaced in many focal points in the town on Wednesday.
The huge flexis in green background with the slogan `Jai Samaikyandhra' in Telugu hailing the united State bearing the picture of Potti Sriramulu was found near the railway gate on Tirupati-Chittoor highway, Tiruchanur bypass road and at NTR Circle.
The flexis in bright colour with Samaikyandhra solgan on the busy roads was drawing the attention of the people and they are wondering who put up them and for what.
With the speculation rife over Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy quitting the Congress in order to float a new party along with the other Congress leaders staunchly supporting Samaikyandhra, the flexis put up in Tirupati in the native district of Kiran Reddy assumed significance.
Interestingly, a Congress functionary from the town and a close confidant of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, when contacted expressed surprise over the Samaikyandhra flexis.
