Kejriwal to visit Hyderabad in February Hyderabad :Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, whose Aam Aadmi Party triumphed against all odds in the recent elections because of its people-friendly approach, is likely to visit the city within the next one month.
This information was shared by party office-bearers during an informal chat at the inauguration of a local constituency level office in lower-tank bund. In an informal chat with Metro India, Sudheer Parkala, in-charge of the AAP state office, said that Kejriwal would visit the State in February.
He also stated that the party had begun its networking process with offices and coordinators being put in place across the State. He said that a State-level coordination committee had been established to monitor and guide the party's activities in the State.
Parkala said, 'Ramesh Reddy, C Vinod Kumar, M P Thomas, Arshad Hussain, Uma Shankari, Snehalatha Reddy, Vijay Prakash and Chinta Mohan were members of this coordination committee.'
He said that AAP's national executive member Prashant Bhushan was scheduled to visit the city on Saturday to put into motion the party's activities in the State. He would also reveal the party's plans for the upcoming State and Parliament elections.
He is likely to address party volunteers, members and the media at the Andhra Vidhyalaya College. Though the party has been claiming that it would contest the 2014 general elections in the State, a decision is yet to be taken on the probable electoral candidates or manifesto.
