JP bats for Telangana state Hyderabad: The Loksatta Party national president, Jayaprakash Narayan on Saturday said the formation of Telangana was inevitable. Speaking on Telangana Bill in the Assembly he said that it was not possible to keep the state united under such circumstances. He felt unhappy to say that there would not be any merit to continue the state united.
He said there will be only imposed dangers associated with such forced unity of the state. The divisions between the political parties should not get into the people, he added. JP said bifurcation was meant for the political division; but not the division among the people.
Every discussion has now been associated with a feeling of regionalism, he said. He said a flagrant division was seen in the ministers of state. He reminded that according to schedule 7, the parliament has no right to interfere in the state affairs.
