YSRCP stalls Assembly over voting on T-Bill Hyderabad, Jan 20 (INN): Continuing its protest demanding voting on Telangana Bill, the YSR Congress Party MLAs stalled the proceedings of State Legislative Assembly on Monday.
As soon as the House met at 9 AM on Monday, the YSRCP legislators trooped into the well raising Jai Samaikhyandhra slogans. They reiterated that they would not allow debate on State Reorganisation Bill until an assurance is given on voting on the Bill. Following uproar, Speaker Nadendla Manohar adjourned the House for half-an-hour at about 9.09 AM.
However, the YSRCP MLAs did not return to the House when it met against at abut 9.45 AM. TDP's P Keshav then started the debate on Telangana Bill.
