Governor unveils Ambedkar's statue in Assembly premise
Hyderabad, Jan 20 (INN): Governor ESL Narasimhan unveiled the statue of Dr B R Ambedkar in the premises of State Legislative Assembly here on Monday.
Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manhohar, Council Chairman Dr A Chakrapani, Leader of Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu, YSRCP floor leader YS Vijay Lakshmi and other leaders participated in the event.
The demand for installation for Ambedkar's statue was pending since a long time and it has been fulfilled in probably the last Assembly session of united Andhra Pradesh.
