Man misbehaves with woman after taking lift in car
HYDERABAD: A man allegedly misbehaved with a woman working in a software company near Outer Ring Road (ORR) here after she gave him lift in her car on Thursday, police said.
The incident occurred when the woman while returning from a temple noticed a man standing near her car who pleaded with her to give him lift as he has some urgent work. She obliged and offered him a lift, Raidurgam police said quoting from complaint lodged by her.
After getting into the car, the man asked her to take the car towards the Outer Ring Road and started misbehaving with her. She immediately sent a message to the ORR police patrolling team asking for help.
The man got down from the car after the woman pulled over the car and fled from the place. 'We are examining the complaint of the woman and have sent her for medical examination. Further investigations are on and we are in the process of registering a case,' a senior police officer said.
