Kiran acting as per Congress' script: Naidu HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam president and leader of the opposition N Chandrababu Naidu has said he has the suspicion that chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is acting in accordance with the script handed over to him by the Congress high command.
Speaking at the TDPLP meeting at the Assembly, Naidu said that all other parties were trying to target the TDP and it was necessary that TDP members should repulse the attack with sound arguments.
He said a grand conspiracy took place in the House which prevented him from speaking on the Telangana bill. From the beginning, the Congress had been making moves with an intention to check the growth of the TDP, he alleged.
'When we put up a good performance in the panchayat elections, the Congress brought the Telangana issue to the fore. When I met BJP president Rajnath Singh, the Congress ensured that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would get bail.
As soon as I met Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, the central cabinet approved the Telangana bill,' Naidu said.
