Naidu asks people to teach Sonia a lesson Tadepalligudem (WG): Telugu Desam president Nara Chandrababu Naidu has asked people to teach AICC president Sonia Gandhi a fitting lesson for trying to divide the state to derive political mileage.
Addressing a huge gathering at Praja Garjana here on Saturday, he said the Congress, YSRCP and TRS were cheating the people.
'How can Sonia, who came from Italy, understand the wishes of the people here? She is playing games with Telugu people by dividing them. The state has a psycho in YS Jaganmohan Reddy who is colluding with Sonia to wriggle out of his cases.
'Though the central government has powers under Article (3) not to divide the state, it is going against the wishes of the people. It violated the Constitution by tabling the Telangana bill which had been rejected by the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.
The UPA, which came to power with the support of Andhra MPs, has cheated them now,' he said and declared that Praja Garjana would be conducted in every district in the state.
