Chinese Railway delegation meets Naidu Hyderabad, Sept 4 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has asked Chinese Railway delegation to prepare a feasibility report on Bullet Train.
A delegation consisting of Chinese railway group Zhou Fang Yuan, Eric and Serge Devieux, Director, South Asia, International Finance Corporation of World Bank Group visited the Chief Minister at his office here on Thursday.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister has proposed the delegation to study the possibility of Bullet train from Visakhapatnam to Chennai and has asked them to prepare a feasibility report within two months.
The delegation gave an assurance that they would study the options and begin making the report from next month. The Chief Minister also proposed a freight corridor linking the ports in the state.
Principal Secretary (Industry and Investments) JSV Parasad and Advisor (communications) Dr. Parakala Prabhakar were also present.
