Merge Jubilee Hills colonies with Ameerpet mandal: Maganti
Hyderabad, Nov 29 (INN): Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath on Saturday urged the State Government to merge 12 colonies of his constituencies with the Ameerpet mandal.
Raising the issue during Zero Hour in the State Assembly, Gopinath said nearly 25,000 residents living in 12 colonies of his constituency were facing a peculiar problem. While their door numbers belong to Hyderabad districts, they have been attached to Balanagar mandal of Ranga Reddy district.
He said that the residents were finding it difficult to get certificates and other documents either from Hyderabad or Ranga Reddy district authorities. Therefore, he demanded that 12 colonies be merged with the Ameerpet mandal.
Transport Minister M Mahender Reddy assured the MLA that he would refer the issue to the minister concerned.
