700 officials for Water Grid project
Hyderabad, Dec 3 (INN): The State Government on Wednesday gave nod for hiring of more than 700 officials on outsourcing basis by the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department.
As many as 47 Senior Assistants and 662 Work Inspectors will be hired by the government in the next few days and they are likely to be assigned the works related to ambitious Telangana State Drinking Water Grid project.
In a related development, the government has sanctioned purchase of 26 vehicles for the use of engineering officials of RWS&S Department.
However, the Rural Water Supply Department has been asked to purchase only 15 vehicles in the first phase and the remaining vehicles will be purchased after sanction of new posts which is under examination.
