Naidu discusses crop loan waiver with ministers
Hyderabad, Dec 3 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday held detailed discussion with a few cabinet colleagues and other senior leaders of Telugu Desam Party on the crop loan waiver scheme.
During the discussion, the Chief Minister is said to have given final touches to his statement to be released on Thursday announcing waiver of crop loans, one of the major promises made by the TDP during elections. A few ministers reportedly advised him to waive off loans up to Rs 30,000 in single installment.
Those who attended the meeting include Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Agriculture Minister P Pulla Rao and Transport Minister Atchaiah Naidu.
