Speaker serves notices to two rebel MLAs Hyderabad, Dec 4 (INN): Telangana Assembly Speaker S Madhusudan Chary on Thursday served notices to two rebel MLAs of Congress party S Redya Naik and K Yadaiah.
Following their defection to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi, the Congress party had sought the disqualification of Naik and Yadaiah. Reacting to the disqualification petitions, the Speaker served the notices to two MLAs directing them to file their replies within seven days.
It may be mentioned that the Speaker had earlier served notices to three other rebel MLAs. They are Vithal Reddy and Kanakaiah of Congress and Madan Lal of YSRCP.
