Unstoppable Naidu to continue his foreign trips HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is all set to continue his foreign jaunt in the coming months to attract investments to the state as well as to study the architecture of planned cities for emulating them while constructing the new capital city of his state.
After his recent tour of Singapore and Japan, Naidu is understood to be readying himself to visit South Korea, Germany and the United States. According to sources, he is planning to visit these countries in the first quarter of next year.
He is also planning to take part in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting-2015, which will be held at Davos-Klosters in Switzerland during January 21-24.
As per the schedule, Naidu will be leaving for Switzerland on January 19 to participate in the WEF meeting. He will return to Hyderabad on January 25.
'The chief minister wants to visit either South Korea or Germany first, probably in the first week of February. After that he will tour the US in March,' said the source.
It is learnt that Naidu wants to complete his tour of South Korea, Germany and the US by the end of March. The government is in the process of finalising the dates of his visits in consultation with those governments.
During his visit to South Korea, Naidu will try to promote Brand AP among automobile majors in that country, besides trying to attract electronic companies such as Samsung to set up their plants in Andhra Pradesh.
