Harikrishna's son Janaki Ram killed in road accident Hyderabad, Dec 6: In a tragic accident, TDP senior leader and veteran film actor Nandamuri Harikrishna's eldest son Janakiram died on Saturday evening in a road mishap
Janaki Ram met with the accident near Akupamala of Munugala mandal of Nalgonda district while going from Hyderabad to Vijayawada. He was reportedly driving his Safari EX car (AP29 GD2323) car which rammed into a tractor coming from opposite direction.
He suffered grievous injuries and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in Kodad by the locals. However, he succumbed to the injuries at the hospital.
He is survived by wife and two sons. Janakiram is the elder brother of actor Kalyan Ram. He produced Kalyan Ram's hit film Athanokkade in 2005.
Chief minister of AP Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh expressed their shock and condolences. Telangana Chief Minister KCR, AP leader of Opposition YS Jagan have also expressed their condolences to the bereaved family.
Incidentally, Harikrishna's another son and film star Jr NTR was also injured in a road accident a few years ago at the same spot.
