TS advocates demand bifurcation of High Court Hyderabad, Dec 6 (INN): The Telangana Advocates JAC on Saturday reiterated its demand that the bifurcation of High Court be expedited.
The JAC leaders submitted a memorandum to Supreme Court Chief Justice HL Dattu when he arrived at the High Court to inaugurate the second national Lok Adalat on Saturday.
Speaking to media persons later, the JAC leaders said that as per Article 241, all States should have a High Court of their own. Therefore, the process to ensure that Telangana and Andhra Pradesh gets High Courts of their own should be expedited. They slammed the advocates of Andhra Pradesh for not demanding a separate High Court for their State.
