Janakiram was driving at top speed Hyderabad, December 7: The Tata Safari vehicle driven by Harikrishna's son Janakiram was in top speed when it met with the mishap on Saturday.
According to villagers, the vehicle could not be controlled when the tractor suddenly came on to the road in the opposite direction. 'Though Janakiram applied sudden brakes, he lost control,' eye-witnesses told the police.
It is learnt that Janakiram was not wearing the seat belt. The body was later shifted to Osmania hospital for post-moterm. Janakiram completed his graduation from Loyola College in Vijayawada after which he pursued higher studies in the US. He married Deepika, a Kakinada-based businessman's daughter and the couple have two children.
Janakiram produced two films earlier and was into other businesses. A few years ago, actor NTR Junior had a narrow escape in Nalgonda after his vehicle overturned and hit a tree. A case has been registered against the tractor driver at Munagala police station.
