'Naa Bangaru Thalli' gets tax exemption Hyderabad, Dec 8 (INN): The Telangana Government on Monday issued orders exempting Telugu feature film 'Naa Bangaru Talli' from payment of Entertainment Tax.
The film has been produced by Prajwala, one of the largest anti-trafficking NGO which is working to combat sex trafficking for the last 19 years, in association with Suntouch Productions.
The feature film titled 'Naa Bangaru Thalli (My dearest daughter)' has a good social message against trafficking of innocent women/children and sex trade. Prajwala had requested the government for 100 per cent exemption from Entertainment Tax.
'The film 'Naa Bangaru Thalli' technically is excellent. The performance of the Artists, Technicians are good. The subject which has handled by the Director is very sensitive and needs encouragement from all the corners.
The social evils which are burning in so many families in the State is boldly attempted by the producer. We feel unanimously to extend support from the Government to encourage such a kind of film makers,' recommended the Screening Committee of Information & Public Relations Department.
