All party meet with KCR remains inconclusive Hyderabad, Dec 9 (INN): The All Party meeting, convened by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to discuss issues related to Hyderabad, remained inconclusive on Tuesday.
The meeting, chaired by the Chief Minister, primarily discussed three issues - encroachments and regularisation of land, cleaning of Hussainsagar lake and re-alignment of Metro Rail.
However, the State Government could not take any major decision on land encroachments or regularisation as all political parties have sought relevant data to take a stand.
While all parties support the proposal to clean Hussainsagar, the BJP and TDP rejected the proposal to construct Vinayak Sagar, a separate lake for immersion of Ganesh idols. Similary, there was no consensus on re-alignment of Metro Rail project in the Old City.
After having discussions for about four hours and 40 minutes, it has been decided to continue the All Party meeting on December 16. Meanwhile, the government will provide relevant data to the political parties on the status of land availability and encroachments.
Except for the YSR Congress party, the representatives of all major political parties participated in the meeting held at C-block of the State Secretariat.
The meeting was attended by Mallu Bhatti Vikramaka, Rammohan Reddy, K R Suresh Reddy, MS Prabhakar and G Niranjan of Congress; L Ramana, Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Narsa Reddy of TDP; Akbaruddin Owaisi, Altaf Hyder Razvi and Syed Aminul Hassan Jafferi of MIM; Dr K Lakshman and G Kishan Reddy of BJP; D Veerabhadra Rao and Sunnam Rajaiah of CPI (M); Chada Venkat Reddy and Ravindra Kumar of CPI and Indrakaran Reddy of BSP.
