Police busts rave party in Moinabad, 30 held
Hyderabad, Dec 9 (INN): The Special Operations Team (SOT) Cyberabad claimed to have busted a rave party at city outskirts in Moinabad area and arrested 30 persons, including eight woman models in the wee hours of Tuesday.
A Special Operation Team (SOT) of police raided a rave party in a guest house at Moinabad area after midnight and arrested 30 persons, including eight girls - four from Mumbai and four from Hyderabad. Most of the men were from Mumbai and had come to the city to attend a reception, sub-inspector L Ravinder Naik said.
The women, dancing in semi-clad dresses, have been arrested on charges of indulging in obscene dance, SOT Additional DCP, E Ramchandra Reddy, said, adding five cars and Rs 1.25 lakh in cash were also seized from the guest house, beside liquor bottles and music equipments.
The organiser of the party, Dileep Jain, has been previously arrested from Jawahar Nagar in the city for similar offence, Reddy said. A case has been booked under relevant sections of IPC and Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA). Further probe is on.
