AP Assembly to discuss loan waiver, new capital Hyderabad, Dec 12 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Sivaprasad Rao on Friday hoped that the legislators would discuss the crop loan waiver and new capital issue during the forthcoming winter session of AP Assembly from December 18.
Speaking to media persons after participating in a function in Nellore, the Speaker expressed confidence that the fruitful discussions on various issues of public importance would be discussed during the winter session.
Referring the crop loan waiver scheme being implemented by the State Government, he said waiving off Rs 40,000 Crore of agriculture loans was unprecedented in the country.
However, he said that there some obstacles in the implementation of the scheme. He said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been working hard to resolve the problems being by the people in the State.
