Swamy Agnivesh praises KCR for Meal scheme Hyderabad, Dec 14 (INN): Swamy Agnivesh has praised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, GHMC and Hare Rama Hare Krishna organization for operating the Re 5 subsidised meal schemes in the city.
Speaking to media persons after visiting the Nampally Sarai here on Sunday, Swamy Agnivesh said that the move to provide subsidized meal to the poor for just Rs 5 was highly appreciable. He said he would meet Chief Ministers of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to request them to expand the scheme in different parts of their respective States to help the poor.
Further, Swamy Agnivesh said he would apprise Prime Minister Narendra Modi of this innovative scheme and would request him to extend the same in different parts of the country where large numbers of labourers, daily wages workers and poor stays.
Swamy Agnivesh also had food with the local people and interacted with them to enquire about the quality of food being served.
