TRS legislators slam TDP's criticism on KCR Hyderabad, Dec 24 (INN): The TRS legislators on Wednesday slammed Telangana TDP leaders for criticising Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
Speaking to media persons at TRS Legislature Party office in Assembly premises here, TRS MLAs G Balaraju and G Babu Rao and MLC C Rajeshwara Rao strongly condemned the statements issued by TDP leaders Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Motkupally Narasimhulu.
Accusing them of acting like agents of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the TRS legislators alleged that the TDP did nothing for the development of Scheduled Castes and Tribes during its regime.
Therefore, the TDP leaders have no moral right to criticise KCR. They claimed that KCR has been working hard for the development of SCs, STs and other weaker sections. They accused the TDP chief of obstructing the development of Telangana while using leaders like Errabelli and Motkupally.
TRS MLA Babu Rao claimed that KCR has elevated hundreds of tribal tandas into Gram Panchayats and several backward and interior areas are not getting road connectivity. He advised the TDP leaders to restrain from criticising the Chief Minister and State Government.
