T-Cong condemns amendments in Reorganisation Act
Hyderabad, Dec 25 (INN): Congress MLC MS Prabhakar on Thursday condemned the amendments in Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.
Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here, Prabhakar claimed that the then Congress-led UPA Government introduced the best Bill in the Parliament and therefore, no further amendments were required.
However, the BJP-led Central Government is bringing amendments only to weaken the interest of Telangana. Alleging that the Chief Minister has failed to protect the interest of Telangana State, he said K Chandrashekar Rao was busy focussing on politics of defections.
He demanded that KCR take corrective steps and counter the Central Government's moves by taking all opposition parties into confidence.
