Krishna Rao reviews with Revenue, NIC officials Hyderabad, Feb 9 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao has conducted a meeting in his chambers on Monday with the officials of Revenue Department and National Informatics Centre (NIC) on Sarkaari Bhoomi, Integration Revenue and Registration Records and Web-land.
The major issues played by the Revenue Dept., in terms of mutations were discussed and it was decided to have a time bound frame of action plan to address - it was decided to make mutations compulsory instead of optional and make the village Revenue Officer responsible for mutation consequent on sale or death. It was decided that the e-pass book should reach the Pattadar within one week of signing by the MRO and arrangements for the same should be made and reviewed on regular basis by the MROs. For any delays in dispatch and delivery, a system of fine should be introduced.
Regarding Integration of Revenue and Registration Dept., it was decided that it is desirable to have sub division as a pre-condition before registration. But this can only be happen after the Survey and Land Records Dept., is strengthened, to that extent where they can handle these issues effectively. For this, the following are proposed.
The VROs to be trained and authorized to Sub-Division with mutual consent and then issue Pattadar Passbooks.
The Licensed Surveyors also to be placed and to strengthen the Survey Dept., after doing the same the CCLA should indicate a time frame for which the Registration Dept., should be asked for Sub-division Records as a pre-condition before registration.
CCLA A.C. Punetha, Prl. Secretary Revenue J.C. Sharma, Secretary Information Technology B. Sreedhar and officials of NIC attended the meeting.
