AP CS asks to complete RIDF projects Hyderabad, Feb 9 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao held a progress review meeting on the NABARD supported RIDF (Rural Infrastructure Development Fund) projects at A.P. Secretariat here on Monday.
As against allocation of Rs 900 crore, the expenditure during this year so far is Rs 386.22 crore. The amount has been spent based up on a review of the projects revised allocation is given enhancing the allocations to Transport, Roads and Buildings, Panchayat Raj and Rural Water Supply, Social Welfare, Tribal Welfare and Rural Development Departments, to ensure full expenditure, the Departments have been requested to concentrate and get the projects completed before end of March and spend the allocated budget.
The officials were also asked to send the reimbursement claims to get the funds from NABARD for the works already done.
