Congress leader accuses KCR of neglecting SCs Hyderabad, Feb 10 (INN): Congress senior leader and former MLA Lingaiah on Tuesday accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of ignoring Dalits in the State.
Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here, Lingaiah said that no representation has been given to Malas and Madigas in the State Cabinet. He said that Madigas' representation was removed with the sacking of Deputy CM Dr T Rajaiah. He warned that the Madiga community would launch a massive agitation if a leader from their community was not inducted in the cabinet on immediate basis. Similarly, he said Mala community should be given representation in the State cabinet.
Lingaiah also accused KCR of behaving like a 'Tuglaq' through his autocratic form of government. He said none of the promises made before the elections were fulfilled. He asked the Chief Minister to learn lessons from Delhi elections and honour all the promises that he made with the people.
