TS seeks central funds for Yadagirigutta Hyderabad: Endowments minister A Indrakaran Reddy said that he is going to seek more funds for the department from the central government to take up the development of Yadagirigutta, the popular pilgrim centre in Telangana.
At a review meeting, he noted that Yadagirigutta temple was one of the prominent pilgrimage centres in the newborn Telangana State.
The State government has requested the Centre to allocate enough funds for the improvement of the temple, the minister observed. He said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has already announced that about the forest development requires 2000 acres of land to design the master plan for Yadagirigutta.
Reddy said that as of now 800 acres of land was acquired and there was a need to acquire another 1200 acres.
