TDP backs Ramakrishna for MLC post
VIJAYAWADA: The Telugu Desam Party has extended support to AS Ramakrishna, who will be in the fray for the election to the Legislative Council from Krishna and Guntur Teachers' Constituency.
TDP district unit convenor B Arjunudu was with Ramakrishna when he interacted with mediapersons. Sitting MLC K S Lakshmana Rao who has the backing of UTF, Progressive Recognised Teachers Union (PRTU) and CPM, is seeking reelection to the Council.
Ramakrishna, speaking to mediapersons here, said that he has the support of STU and is confident of winning the seat.
