Kerala offers land for Sabiramala pilgrims from TS HYDERABAD:Kerala government has approved to allot five acres at Sabarimala for the construction of Telangana Bhavan, to provide shelter for pilgrims from the state. This was announced by Kerala state education minister PK Abdurub, who called on chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the Secretariat here.
Apart from conveying the approval of the Kerala cabinet to allot five acres at Sabarimala, the discussion between the two revolved around Kerala's tourism, prohibition of liquor, cultivation of paddy, coconut growing, total literacy in Kerala and introduction of e-literacy in Kerala.
Earlier, Rao wrote a letter to his Kerala counterpart to allot land for the construction of Telangana Bhavan in Sabarimala for the benefit of pilgrims from Telangana.
