KCR to meet Maha CM Fadnavis in Mumbai HYDERABAD: Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will meet his Maharashtra counterpart Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai on February 17 to discuss issues relating to inter-state irrigation projects.
Rao will also discuss pending issues with regard to Pranhita-Chevella, Lendi, Penganga and Itcchampalli projects. Rao, who will leave for Delhi on February 15 to attend the reception of BJP president Amit Shah's son, will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on February 16. Later he will leave for Mumbai on February 17.
Irrigation minister T Harish Rao held a review on the issues relating to inter-state projects at the Secretariat here on Friday. Harish Rao prepared a report for the chief minister to discuss the same with his Maharashtra counterpart.
Meanwhile, state government advisor (Irrigation) R Vidyasagar Rao called on Central Water Commission chairman Pandyan in Delhi on Friday and discussed with him about the hydrological clearances that were required for Pranahita-Chevella project.
'CWC expressed satisfaction over the Pranahita-Chevella project report. We have to once again discuss with CWC officials on the project design. The hydrological clearance may be given in one week,' Vidyasagar Rao told reporters in Delhi.
