Naidu congratulates Suguna for Tirupati by-poll win
Hyderabad, Feb 16 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu congratulated M Suguna, wife of late M. Venkataramana, for winning the Tirupati by-elections with a margin of 116,524 votes in the state.
With the sudden demise of Tirupati TDP MLA Venkataramana following cardiac arrest on December 15, Chandrababu Naidu gave the spot to Venkataramana's wife Suguna.
The Chief Minister said that this is the result of people's response to the TDP government's programmes in the last eight months. 'I'm confident that Sugunamma will keep the promises and deliver,' he added.
