Jeevan Reddy seeks more info on KCR's meet with Maha CM Hyderabad, Feb 18 (INN): Deputy CLP leader in Legislative Assembly T Jeevan Reddy on Wednesday asked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to give more clarification on the deliberations that he had with his Maharashtra counterpart Devendra Fadnavis.
Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here, Jeevan Reddy asked KCR to explain the assurance given by the Maharashtra Chief Minister on providing 160 TMC of Godavari Waters to Telangana. He asked when the promise would be released and where it would be stored in Telangana. He said that the Chief Minister needs to provide all details about his meeting with Fadnavis.
Jeevan Reddy also asked KCR to prioritise the completion of Pranahita-Chevella project. He said steps should be taken by the government to complete the land acquisition process by convincing the villagers to give away their lands for the project. Stating that KCR should also pressurise the Centre to grant National Project status to Pranahita-Chevella Dam.
